چکیده
First, to provide insight into the differences in ankle kinetics, kinematics and lateral ligament strain between males females during functional sports movements. In addition this study explores prophylactic efficacy of different footwear bracing modalities. Experiment 1 examined male female athletes performing run, 45° cut one-legged hop movements, experiment 2 observed court, energy return trainer conditions a change direction task, 3 high-cut, low-cut direction, vertical jump movements 4 explored an sleeve brace movement. each kinetics were measured using musculoskeletal simulation approach. indicates that exhibited increased inversion velocity (male = 260.39 219.18°/s) movement as well enhanced peak posterior force 2.24 1.35BW), anterior talofibular (ATFL) rate 266.77 133.16%/s). showed both calcaneofibular (CFL) (PTFL) velocities greater court (CFL 90.86 PTFL 151.45%/s) compared 69.07 119.57%/s). run was (7.86%) high (3.61%) low (5.87%) (8.14%) (5.39%) for (188.01%/s) (175.60%/s) (221.55%/s) (220.29%/s) (202.05%/s) cut. revealed condition (17.05%) (15.42%). This provides potentially incidence sprain injuries males, whilst also highlighting braces attenuating mechanisms linked aetiology injuries.

Kinematics and kinetics of an accidental lateral ankle sprain.
Ankle sprains are common during sporting activities and can have serious consequences. Understanding of injury mechanisms is essential to prevent injuries, but only two previous studies have provided detailed descriptions of the kinematics of lateral ankle sprains and measures of kinetics are missing. In the present study a female handball player accidentally sprained her ankle during sidestep ...

the current study aimed at investigating the relationship between motivation and test preparation strategies (tpss) used by iranian pre-university students in their preparation period for the university entrance exam (uee). due to the importance of uee in iran, this study also attempted to show its impact on these two important variables. to this end, 100 pre-university students in an iranian p...
Kinematics of Hip, Knee and Ankle During Cross- Slope Walking
Purpose: Little information is available on joint kinematic adaptations during walking on cross-slope surfaces (i.e. a surface incline perpendicular to the direction of locomotion). This study aimed to evaluate the effects of cross-slope surfaces on three-dimensional (3D) kinematics of hip, knee, and ankle joints during stance phase of walking. Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study...
متن کاملEfficacy of an ankle orthosis with a subtalar locking system in restricting ankle kinetics and kinematics in lateral cutting
Introduction The ankle joint is the most injured joint during sports participation [1]. Ankle orthoses have been shown to be effective in reducing ankle inversion injuries and are often prescribed for rehabilitation and prevention of lateral ankle sprains. Efficacy of ankle orthoses is often assessed by comparing reduction of passive inversion ROM as well as ankle kinematics between braced and ...
